As an expert in your field, you know you can bring clear value to your clients, but do you ever struggle to communicate it throughout every RFP process? Often non-designer reviewers have a pile of responses on their desk and not enough time to review every word of the RFP response. How do you stand out? Being an expert in the field doesn’t always translate into being able to communicate that expertise to a prospective non-designer client. This intro course will take you through Parts 1 +2 of the 5 part toolkit to help you define your value proposition, and align it to your clients! Take advantage of the worksheets to dive right in!

Hi, I’m Sreoshy

I lead Urban Design within the Planning Division at The New York City Economic Development Corporation where I guide urban design strategy and manage consultants on visionary master planning efforts. Prior to my time in the public sector, I have been a project architect and urban designer at Dattner Architects working on civic minded-urban projects including affordable housing master plans such as Lambert Houses and Hallets Point in NYC. In my early career, I have gained exposure to a variety of internationally renowned architects, including Rafael Vinoly architects in New York, and Dominique Perrault in Paris. Soon after my graduate studies at MIT, I cofounded my own startup, where I led a team that designed and launched an online marketplace app. This experience, as well as my current role has given me a unique perspective on value, business development, and storytelling. I have a Master’s in Urban Design from MIT and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

I can't wait to help you craft a values driven response while using stortelling techniques along the way.
